The Cooperative Bank of Chania, in the context of its contribution to the national and collective effort to deal with COVID-19 and with a view to the financial convenience of its customers, announces the temporary suspension of commission fees for transactions carried out through its electronic banking platform (eBanking).

From 15/04/2020 until 15/05/2020 there will be absolutely no charge to the following electronic transactions:

• Transfers to account held at another bank
• Payments of bills
• Credit card payments from another bank

This action of corporate social responsibility and customer-driven policy facilitates daily financial transactions and provides an additional incentive to conduct them electronically instead of having a physical presence in stores.

Customers of the Bank who wish to register in the Chania eBanking service can electronically submit the relevant registration application available on the Bank’s website www.chaniabank.gr.
