Through the IRIS Payments service (IRIS Commerce), you can pay for products and services in both online and physical stores within Greece, with direct debit from your account. Transactions are completed without the use of a card and with immediate credit to the beneficiary.

By selecting “IRIS Payments” as your payment method, your transaction is processed through eBanking or the ChaniaBank Mobile App, ensuring a complete, secure, and seamless shopping experience.

Complete your transaction:

In an online store (e-shop):

Select IRIS Payments and:

  • Scan the QR Code via the ChaniaBank Mobile App, or

  • select the Bank and you will be automatically redirected to eBanking to approve the transaction.

In a physical store:

  • Scan the QR Code from the POS via the ChaniaBank Mobile App and approve the transaction instantly from your mobile phone or tablet.

There is no transaction limit in the IRIS Payments service.

No additional registration or activation is required for the service. The basic requirement is that you are a registered user of the Cooperative Bank of Chania eBanking service.

You can make payments to freelancers, sole proprietors, online and physical stores, as well as bill payments, as follows:

  • From the ChaniaBank Mobile App, in the “My Products” section, select the scan icon.
  • Your device’s camera will be activated; scan the QR Code and approve the transaction.

No. The service is provided free of charge for the payer (consumer).

The service is available in selected Greek online stores that have enabled this specific payment method.

Any online store operating in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation is required to have a returns policy. For a refund, you should follow the process defined by the respective store or the platform through which you made the purchase, in line with the rules governing distance selling transactions.

The QR Code is unique for each transaction and has a limited validity period for security reasons.
