The Cooperative Bank of Chania, in response to legislative requirements and to better meet your business needs, has designed the IRIS POS Pay functionality on your terminal.

With the IRIS POS Pay service, your customers now have a new way to make purchases from your business — without using a card. They can pay you directly from their bank account, easily and securely, through their bank’s mobile app.

The process is simple and takes place through the EFT/POS terminal. Specifically:

  1. The customer selects to pay with IRIS QR.
  2. The transaction starts from the cash register.
  3. The business selects IRIS PAYMENT on the POS terminal.
  4. A QR code for the specific transaction appears on the POS screen.
  5. The customer scans the QR code through their bank’s mobile application.
  6. They confirm the amount, and the transaction is completed with the printing of a receipt.
